Meals & Snacks

We serve balanced nutritious meals and snacks approved by U.S.D.A. We belong to a U.S.D.A. food program. We use the range and microwave for cooking. Cold foods (milk, yogurt, etc.) are kept in the refrigerator. Hot foods are cooked with pan handles turned "in”. Leftovers are stored in the refrigerator or frozen for family use. We use non–hormone milk from cows that have not been treated with BST.

We use pasteurized, non–hormone milk from cows that have not been treated with BST. Infants 0-12 months are served breast milk or formula. Toddlers 12-24 months are served whole milk if they are ready for whole milk. Children 24+ months are served skim or 1% milk. Alternatives to this may be provided for by parents and I will need signed statement from the child’s doctor.
